Ingredients:

1 splash of simple syrup

1 strip orange peel

2 drops bitters

2 oz. Makers Mark bourbon whiskey

I maraschino cherry (garnish)

Instructions:

Add the simple syrup to an Old Fashioned glass and drop in a strip of orange peel. Add the bitters and muddle together. Fill the glass with ice, then add your bourbon. Stir together slowly. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
