SET UP & AVOID OBSTACLES:
1. Visit http://dtv.gov/maps to confirm the channels available in your area, it’s simple, but important to using the product!
2. Areas with larger obstacles such as valleys and mountains will reduce the effective range.
Note: Please remember to scan the channel again after moving the antenna.
3. If your house is very close to a broadcast tower (within 35 miles), switch the amplifier to “Short Range”. Instead, you switch to “long distance”.
4. If possible, place the antenna on a window (highly recommended).Try different positions and place the antenna as high as possible.
5. Please connect the TV antenna to the “Ant In” socket on the back of any HDTV.
6. Please change the scan type to “Antenna” or “Air” in the TV’s settings menu.
7. Once connected, use the TV’s “Channel Search” or “Channel Scan” to scan for channels. Enjoy free TV shows.
8. The use of a TV antenna depends on where you live and how close you are to the broadcast tower.
