Every So Often a Zebra Has Spots is the 3rd book in the Social Emotional Learning picture book series, The Be Books. When you pick up a book in this series, you are diving into a book full of inspiration, purpose, and meaning.
You are one of a kind! There is no one exactly like YOU! The world is a beautiful place because we are all different. Let’s embrace those differences and be kind to one another.
What if a zebra had spots? What if a cow gave us lemonade? What if a frog said “Meow?” What if a peacock had no feathers at all? This book references animals that do not fit the expectation of them. It is important that we raise our children to see our differences as a positive and beautiful thing.
Every So Often A Zebra Has Spots is a book that will have you and your children talking! It will inspire conversations about differences and how beautiful it is to be true to yourself. It will make you laugh and will definitely become your child’s new favorite book. They will not even know that they are learning lifelong lessons about acceptance and kindness for all. We are each unique and beautiful in our own way. What a wonderful blessing it is to be “me.
Every So Often A Zebra Has Spots is an animal book like no other. It shows the reader that being different is what makes us each so special. Your differences are what make this world a more beautiful place. Stand out. Be different. Be you.
Let’s work together to build a world full of light, positivity, respect, laughter, and love. Everyone is capable of learning how to be positive, accepting, and kind.
We are each unique and beautiful in our own way. What a wonderful blessing it is to be ME.
Author note: This is one of my deepest books but you would never know it. It asks the reader, “What if …” and references animals that do not fit the role that we expect of them.
It is so important to me that we raise our children to be aware of our differences and SEE THEM AS A POSITIVE AND BEAUTIFUL THING. Very often someone who is different than you can be perceived as “scary” when in reality there is so much to learn from someone who is different than us.
Let’s join together and be kind to one another. Let’s learn from each other.
Stand out. Be different. Be you.
A fun, creative, and easy way to discuss equality, antiracism, prejudice, intolerance, special needs, autism, down syndrome, and any type of difference.
After reading this book if you want to leave an honest review, it would be appreciated so much! It helps others find the book and in turn helps to create a kinder world for us ALL to live in and share.
