Note: The adapter is compatible with windows 7/8.1/10 and Linux(V2.6.32-5.8). X86 /ARM/MIPS platform. Mac OS is not compatible though. Chrome OS is not supported either.
If you can not read DVD disc to get driver, please go to QWTEK’s website(qwtek.net) to download the driver.
If the linux driver is not work, please contact us for latest version driver.
Verify if the driver is installed correctly via following route:” This PC/Manage/Device Manager/Bluetooth Adapters” .If the driver is installed, it shall show “Realtek Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter” rather than “Generic Bluetooth Adapter”
Real Bluetooth 5.0: It means you can pair 4 BT devices with PC, you can use BT mouse, keyboard, speaker (like Echo Dot or headset like Airpod) and printer(or another device like mobile, gamepad, etc.) simultaneously. But can’t connect 2 speakers or 2 headsets, or 1 speaker 1 headset simultaneously.
Can connect Gamepad controller P4/PS4 @ Windows 10, but you prefer installing driver and then will need to manually add the wireless controller according to following route “Control Panel/Hardware and Sound/Devices and Printers) and then click “Add a device” to install the PS4 DSK 4, even it maybe automatically added to your PC .
After adding the devices(especially speakers, Gamepad controller) , if they don’t work, please power off them and then restart. Then click bluetooth icon on PC to show the devices and then connect them.
You can just plug the BT50RTK adapter into anyone USB port and keep it there, with small size and white color, it is really helpful.
